About Us

A Message From Our CEO & Founder
From a Voice Found… to Voices Empowered
My Name is Antavious TJ Grier. I am a graduate of Lithia Springs High School. I am also an Alumni of Trident University International by way of Middle Tennessee State University. I have a Masters in Business Administration with a concentration of Business Finance. I am also a Proud Member of The Daystar Tabernacle International.
I wasn’t always confident.
Between struggles at home and living with undiagnosed ADHD, I was barely keeping it together. School felt like a battle, and I wasn’t sure where I fit in—or if I’d ever get out of that dark cloud.
But GOD, everything changed.
I was placed in a program called CIS. It didn’t feel like much at first… until they introduced a public speaking competition. I wasn’t interested. In fact, I only signed up after some serious convincing—and maybe a little ear-pulling.
But I showed up. I gave it a shot.
I worked on my writing. I practiced speaking. And little by little, I started to realize something powerful: My voice mattered.
And then—I won.
Not just the competition, but a new level of confidence I didn’t know I had. That experience helped me stay focused, graduate, and ultimately go to college. And the best part? I still use those skills every single day.
That one moment—that one opportunity—changed everything.
The Grier Foundation was born out of that breakthrough.
We exist to give that same push to students who need it most. To help another kid feel seen, heard, and believed in. To stand in the gap for youth facing adversity. To be the reminder that no matter what they’re going through…
The impossible is God’s opportunity to do the incredible.
This is bigger than me.
It’s about legacy, community, and a generation of voices rising.
And years from now, I pray a young person stands tall and says…
“You inspired me.”
INITIATIVES
Our 2025 Vision & Impact In 2025, The Grier Foundation is expanding its reach and deepening its impact with a powerful lineup of initiatives designed to uplift, educate, and equip today’s youth for tomorrow’s opportunities. Our focus this year includes launching the HBCU Awareness Tour—both virtual and in-person—to expose students to the rich legacy and academic excellence of Historically Black Colleges and Universities. We’re also introducing the Youth Leadership Development Cohort, a transformative mentorship program that builds character, leadership skills, and a heart for service. Through our Quarterly Podcast Series: “The Future Talks,” we’re creating conversations that inspire—featuring students, alumni, community leaders, and change-makers sharing stories of triumph, growth, and guidance.
We are also excited to present the inaugural Future Leaders of Tomorrow Fundraising Gala, a formal celebration that honors our community champions, scholarship recipients, and visionaries. This year, we will also launch our Scholarship Fundraising Campaign to support deserving students with the resources they need to succeed in higher education. These powerful initiatives work in harmony with our signature programs like the Voices of Tomorrow HBCU College Fair & Public Speaking Competition, Empowerment Bootcamp Series, Parent Empowerment Nights, and Community Day/Volunteer Impact Weekend. Every initiative is part of a greater mission: to transform lives by creating access, opportunity, and pathways to a brighter future.
